Why Stage Your Home???

Highlight your home’s strengths, downplay its weaknesses and appeal to the greatest possible pool of prospective buyers with these home-staging tips.

Get the Highest Price for Your Home:

A well-staged home is aesthetically pleasing. Everything looks inviting, comfortable, and simple. It elicits a strong emotion from buyers:

Your Home Will Sell Faster:

Staged homes sell more quickly than unstaged homes.

Staging Helps with Procrastination:

– yes, your stager will want many of your keep sakes and collector items put away. This is called decluttering and depersonalizing. You will have to tackle this at some point. Get it done early, store boxes in the basement, a POD, or rent a storage unit for a few months.

Staging Will Teach you a Few Things:

Maybe you never had a decorator and you’ve done it all yourself. Those floral curtains in the bedroom, the layout of the pictures over the living room sofa, the furniture placement in the family room or the overlarge chair in the den. It all works for you which is great – but a stager might just show you “better” which is something you can take with you to your new home.

You Never Get a Second Chance to Make a First Impression:

– is a favorite line with stagers and real estate agents. If you don’t stage before you list, guess what? You’ve lost time and money – the two things that are all but promised if you stage your home before listing it for sale.

You get a good feeling when you walk into a home that has been properly staged. It’s not fake, it’s more than just placemats and wine glasses on the dining room table. It just feels good.

Staging Process

Home staging is a service I provide to all my clients it is part of the package for listing your home and not an add on service. I work with a full-time stager; the stager has their own furniture available to my clients, they also inventory a complete selection of the latest in trends for toss cushions, bedding, throws, table lamps, mirrors and artwork.

The home staging experience process:

Consultation:

We will meet with you and conduct a comprehensive tour of your home starting at the curb and working our way inside, room by room. We will leave with you a detailed written report of recommendations to help you highlight your home’s greatest features and prepare your home to sell.

Home Staging:

A three step process that incorporates the effective arrangement of furniture, light, art and accessories to draw attention to your homes finest features.

Step One:

Our Stager uses a proven system evaluating the appeal of your home inside and out. We will complete a comprehensive consultation including recommendations for improving troubled areas in order prepare and present your home to its fullest potential.

Step two:

Review the solutions and a reasonable action plan. The action plan may include tasks such as cleaning, packing, decluttering and repairs that are done prior to listing on the market. We can do as much or as little as required and will work within your schedule.

Step Three:

Upon completion of all recommended work, our stager will return to transform your entire living space creating an impression that potential buyers will remember.

Vacant Staging:

Empty spaces appear smaller and uninviting making it difficult for potential buyers to connect. Our stager will enhance the space by creating a welcoming atmosphere and transforming your property into a lifestyle setting that buyers will want to make their own. Vacant staging involves space planning, furniture rental, accessory sourcing, creative design and de-staging upon selling the property.Statistics show that vacant homes sell almost 80% faster when staged.

Colour Consultations:

Colour is a powerful element in our lives. With so many paint colours and finishes to choose from. We will assist you in creating the colour palette that is right for your space and lifestyle.

Redesign:

We work with your existing furniture and accessories in a creative way to give your home a fresh new look. The design consultation will address any room frustrations and recommend elements to recreate your space to reflect your lifestyle. Shopping for finishing touches and impact pieces is also an available option. When redesigning a home or choosing that perfect paint colour, we strive to define “your” personality and lifestyle so you come home to a place you are proud of.
